Fear arrives as a spreadsheet

You've been in this moment before.

The chest tightens slightly. The mind accelerates. One more conversation with someone you trust. One more piece of information before the decision.

It feels exactly like diligence.

But the HeartMath Institute has spent decades measuring what happens in the body when we believe we're being rational. What they found: the heart sends more neural signals to the brain than the brain sends to the heart. And when those signals are driven by fear — even carefully structured, perfectly logical fear — the body already knows. The coherence breaks. The clarity disappears.

Fear doesn't always arrive as panic. Often it arrives as a spreadsheet.

It knows which numbers to cite. It knows which risks to name. It speaks our language so fluently that we believe it — because it sounds exactly like us.

I know this from the inside.

Investing fully in my career as an intuition coach was not a logical decision. It was a signal — from somewhere that doesn't speak in spreadsheets. I adapted it in my mind, eventually. I built the case around it, as we do.

But first, I simply trusted it.

Did I ask the right questions? Maybe yes. Maybe not.

What I know: for the third time in my life, I changed everything and followed my heart.

The intelligence of the heart doesn't build a case. It doesn't argue. It signals.

It is not the answer that opens the mind.
It is the question that reaches the heart.

When did you last make a decision that came entirely from you?

If you no longer remember — let's talk.
